Life is good. I'm sick (😷 ahhh - CHOO!), but I'll live. Fever broke, I think. We had some water damage due to an ice dam, but insurance sent a company to deal with it and I think we are getting a new floor out of this, so yaaaaaay! Sun is out. Blue skies and highs near 50°!

Bomb Cyclone, baby! Was a wild morning... wind whipping around. I watched Major walk through 3" of snow to jump through snow deeper than him to get to an area where I could see blades of grass before another huge drift.

All house windows are covered. Here's the view from my second floor office...

Home safe! Easy drive back from Philly... mostly just rain, turning white as I got deeper into CT.

Major had to pee after I did, but unfortunately he had to go out in the snow to do it. I always feel bad for the boy when we have extreme temps. Summer heat is worse, but below freezing and snow can't be super awesome.

To me, flowers he brought home from a grocery store run because he knows sunflowers are one of my favorites and "they looked good, I thought of you" will beat out red roses delivered on one specific February day.

Had to sniff the snow!

Dog sits in his grassy backyard, which has been shoveled because the week old snowfall was higher than his belly. He sniffs the snow pile mound in front of him. His fur is similar in color to the leafless trees further off, down the hill in the back of his yard.

31 degrees.

A few crows started dive bombing the hawk from above. All the food I put out is on the hill under the hawk and they want that death machine far away!

Wow, that sound quality is shit. Sorry!

Crows are PISSED at a hawk outside of my office window. (That's Major's snoring that is also heard in the video.)
