Today I pray for softer hearts, for wisdom over pride, for courage that chooses compassion over conquest. Because beyond borders and politics, we are all just human beings hoping to wake up to sunlight instead of smoke, with hope, and with a world that finally chooses humanity over harm.

Thank goodness the US constitution has all those famous checks and balances to prevent a dangerous mad President from acting out his own personal wishes.
