Today I was out having lunch with a friend when an unmarked ICE vehicle passed by. We were sitting outside in the lovely weather, enjoying the day. I was the only hispanic person present. Not a single other person noticed ICE.

My work is very political and from the beginning I dont avoid talking politics when appropriate, but my accounts are about selling a product. And im happy to take money from anyone. Because that money then goes to paying my trans employees, and directly towards orgs and actions that benefit people

And guess what? Sometimes, that has nothing to do with being loud on the internet and in this day and age posting some things puts people and orgs that are helping, at risk. Something you would know if you were actually active in groups who were on the ground doing things that have real impact.

All these people acting as if having a big mad on the internet is "using your platform" are delusional. Anyone can say anything they want on the internet and we are overrun with people opinions.

Using your platform actually means using the connections and any possible fiscal benefits to help.
