I wanted to see that movie...can't remember where it was available but likely a streaming service I have no desire to set up an acct for.. we'll see. Did a freebie trial to see CODA and I really wish I could get my hands on a DVD or something.

It's rare I think to see disabled kids in private schools. I guess I was...'lucky' to be accepted...the 2nd time. Was not accepted 1st time, the next year I and my non-disabled sibling were accepted. Makes me wonder now after all these years ...

My friend has an 8yo kid on the autism spectrum with an IQ higher than a certain President or 2. She makes sure he gets what he needs, not sure what will happen if IDEA vanishes. Glad they're in a great state. IDEA became law in 1975- I never got IDEA/IEPA support '75 puts me in 4th/5th grade

Gene Tierney contracted Rubella aka German measles in 1943 from a fan I believe. Daria was born deaf & blind and was institutionalized. She passed on 2010. I wonder if she had late onset health problems too; that's common with Rubella babies.

! Really? (Re autism). I am one of the 'Rubie Babies'/Rubella from the '60s epidemic. have wondered about autism as related to CRS (mother contracted Rubella very early in 1st month). I hope there isn't another Rubella Baby Bulge epidemic... I don't wish it on anyone, especially the unborn child.

Have looked into Zenni before. Progressive Trifocal- strong Rx (less strong after lens implants in my 20s). Might look again to see what options there are.

That's wild that they had color lenses in the 1700s! It's a struggle to get the optical people to let me have color or tint for my everyday pair! Need sunglasses too (ran over my last pair with my car... 🥴).

Oh I know that well! The other day I was in A Walgreens, I had to sign in for the vaccines (forgot to fill out beforehand oops). Had to scan the QR code on sign...so went looking for the QR app.

I'm the only android phone in my family lol. Though Dad does have an android phone too but he's adept with mom's iPhone as she does not use it much anymore (due to health). I do have a MacBook - in my defense it was required for the coding boot camp I went to years ago.

1/ Dear @bsky.app . I love your app but every time I write a reply or comment then have to switch to look up something for the post then switch back to BlueSky only to find my app refreshed and at the top of my feed- losing my written post.
