I had the misfortune of viewing the sessions. Writing a lengthy article to complain about the negative impact of choosing to participate in public couples therapy is very ‘on brand’, as is blaming his wife. It appears he rarely if ever edits himself, in print or otherwise.

Exactly. I was only on the periphery but felt really conflicted when asked to donate towards her ‘treatment’. In the end I bit my tongue & contributed as it gave her hope, which is, of course, what they prey upon. Evil bastards. Her real Drs tried to counsel her but they had no false hope to offer.

Heartfelt condolences. A friend’s sister had terminal cancer. Rather than spend the time she had with family & friends she spent all the money they had & more at an alternative ‘clinic’ in Mexico. I understood her desperation, she was 29, but I was & am furious with evil charlatans who exploited it.

If casting semi scripted reality television it makes sense to choose camera familiar ‘talent’ with high potential for conflict & controversy in keeping with the show’s narrative.
