reading is reading it’s all valuable!! a graphic novel is just as “real” as a traditional novel

graphic novelizations can also inspire readers to try out the novel version of a series! and the context from the GN can help them with the visualization aspect of reading. I find that aspect to be what a lot of reluctant readers find boring abt reading, they can’t SEE it, but GN help them with that

comics and graphic novels are GREAT forms of storytelling, especially for reluctant readers! they are great tools for learners who might struggle with a “traditional” novel, or someone who finds them not all that interesting
