Each colour is an actual real colour taken from my photos of the area- covering everywhere from Ystalyfera to Blaenavon. If there is demand I will also do some A3 ones. Thanks to Helen Hallam for all her help with this!

In that way it's a reflection of me and the things I choose to photograph- a story of love for a place.

The start to the year has been so busy there's not been time to really get out into my landscape (50 days of rain didn't help either).

My Valleys work is as much autobiographical as it is about people and place; about my love for exploration and the places I find in the Valleys

So excited to get this online! Merch for my upcoming Valleys show in Clwb Ffoto, Newport (launch event March the 6th)- definitely as a print, and hopefully as a tea towel! All the colours are picked from my own actual photos, and as such are part of the fabric of the Valleys!

One of the best documentaries of all time: a tender, warm, unshowy study of the threads from which communities are woven & the big-small moments that make up human lives.
It was a huge influence on Birding

"Granary," a piece by Paul Nash, features an evocative countryside scene with a striking interplay of organic forms and geometric structures, capturing the vibrant, unpredictable dynamism of nature. Known for his modernist style, Nash often drew inspiration from the British landscape, imbuing it with elements of surrealism and abstraction.
