Seed funding for climate comedy. apply now. what- apply for $1000 seed funding to produce your own stand up for climate comedy event. who- college/university comedy groups, classes, or clubs. the seed funding will be awared to an individual representative designated from the group, class, or club. awards will not be issued to an organization. When- your live comedy event needs to occur before april 25, 2026. Application can be submitted starting now until all 5 seed awards of $1000 each are given out. About the Impro/ve with CU Workshop: Spotlighting the alternative choices that we as individuals, corporations and international institutions should be making is a crucial part of propelling Americans toward a more environmentally sustainable future.

By day, Matt Winning works on climate policy. By night, he’s turning scientific data into jokes. Fusing razor-sharp research with dry Scottish wit, Matt uses stand-up to make the climate crisis feel less distant, more human, and a lot harder to ignore.

Her podcast provided many good examples including ITG's ongoing work at the @colorado.edu, and featured the brilliant comic and climate academic @mattywin.bsky.social.
