A large number of vegetarians eat insufficient protein as non meat/fish sources have less protein per serving making it tough to meet bodily requirements.
It’s even tougher for vegans without the option of milk products or eggs.

I know two people who don’t like it and I feel sorry for them 😆

We should aim to eat at least 1g protein per kg of our body weight per day as we lose muscle mass easily and need protein to avoid doing so
eg 100g chicken breast meat contains 21g protein
1 medium egg 9g
100g Cheddar 25g
100g Chick peas 7g
And of course we need to do weight bearing exercise.

I used to manage a bone densitometry service and we had to close one of the scanners as the company who made it would no longer offer a service contract as it was so ancient spares were no longer manufactured.
