Wooo!! Our WNBR is being held on the 26th of July, this year. I can't wait to go. But then, this is Portland... there are many naked rides speckled throughout the summer.

So... more practicing with oil pastels. I took a charcoal drawing I had already done and added fixative. Then I played around with the oil pastel sticks. I... I.. I'm on the fence with it.

Making progress. I have to wait until the oil cures a bit before moving forward... but I am still working on it!!

Good morning! I posted the WIP for this, but never posted the finished piece. Here it is. :) :)

Today, I shall go to my studio and finish up many more paintings. Hopefully lots of posts are coming. :) :)

Made a little progress. Hopefully it's a noticeable progression. I am firming up the shadow shapes and trying to keep proportions.

I didn't have time to tend to any of my paintings (work work cut my day short); but, I did make progress on this charcoal drawing.

I love the framing, too. Good composition, and you're a part of the environment.

Hi all. Posting this just so I am consistent in posting stuff. This is a WIP!! Even tho I have warm tones and cool tones on the canvas, the finished painting is going to be more or less monochromatic. :)
