Like, I like to make this delineation in my mind between, "Objectively high rated shows", and shows that meet my personal subjective expectations of what I will and won't engage with for me.

I think in the end, I can't help but think Blue Point got a raw deal. Regardless of remake opinions, I don't wanna give Sony any charitability. They are the bigger problem to me. And I feel they lead the studio to die through incompetency imho.

It might be a little condescending but like. I think for someone to make a great argument one must understand what their point is. Or at least, why they have to make a reply in the first place.

I think that comes with the territory of illiteracy. Well, if someone goes around making up shit to be mad about. I do get that being frustrating tho. But tbh, I'm not sure what I can tell people who don't read posts properly. Other than to pick up a book and get their media literacy higher up.

Tbh, I only really use Twitter to talk to a few friends. I hate the environment of Twitter nowadays. I know Blusky isn't perfect, but like. At least blocklists actually work. Filtering works. (I never realized how essential these things really were to a pleasant Social Media experience imo)

Tbh, I think kinks are fun because of social taboos. Nobody enjoys irl certain things but in a fantasy with fictional characters it's hot imo.

Custom servers, bots, lots of maps across the franchise to play, all the mechanical nuances a Ratchet game has, I really want a 2000's or even early 2010's multiplayer Arena Movement based shooter with Ratchet. IF, a Ratchet Spin off has to exist.

I'm being real, that's why I think Golden Bolt is super charitable. And it's not an issue. It's great he is such a well balanced critic. But man, I think I want someone to make the UYA multiplayer like it's own game you can play. Ya know what I mean?

Like Ratchet is a fantastic series. You have flips, grinding on walls, jet boots to close the difference, platforming, circling enemies is fun, so much of the fundamentals of Ratchet combat are fun. But fuck, that shit will never be replicated in a mobile game. Whilst having a long ass tutorial.

Tbh, arena Ratchet shooters would be best in my mind and even perfect for one of those spin offs if the modern contemporary design just was gone. And we can have a multiplayer shooter just be fun on it's own merits. Rather than manipulative practices.

Every mechanic in a modern Online multiplayer only game facilitates this feeling of making sure dopamine is optimized just right. Rather than the Serotonin and dopamine coming from like, legitimately amazing skill and raw skill and knowledge alone.

And like, I dunno. Multiplayer spin offs can be fun. IF, they stopped trying to optimize the most amount of fun OUTTA the game. I think I know why these games don't appeal to me. They feel so fucking corporate and don't speak from an artistic level.

Honestly, Golden Bolt is way more charitable than I can ever be with these sorts of games. A multiplayer Arena Shooter Ratchet would be fun, IF. It stopped with the predatory practices and loot boxes and the whole shebang. Unfortunately, the real world disagrees with me.
