Looking at that table, I do also wonder if the dev had fun doing it? It's a blink and miss it inclusion, but also one for table top fans. Just a fun Easter egg for them?

Plus the churn and burn rate within the industry. So many devs burn out from the schedule and pacing of development. Also the layoffs.

Like the poor dust guy who add particles to the air to make it more immersive? Can't make it too dusty, but just enough. Lol.

Would this solve the dev window and exclusivity issues?

Ok. For shits and giggles. What if the console war ended in its current state and it transformed? Let's use Linux as a model. What if Sony and Xbox decided to use steam as the main engine, but then if you bought a subscription through them, you would also get their exclusive branded content?

You also have to take into account, complexity. A small team could pump out multiple games for the NES in the same time a huge team can create one game for the Switch 2. This makes companies putting all their eggs into one game less likely to try new shit. Nobody wants another ET.
