i don’t have to interact with you and i don’t want to. for some reason everyone feels that i have to explain every single move i make to them. i am not a company, a celebrity or a customer service. i am a fan of a show i like & i don’t owe anyone explanation as to how i will use my personal account.

i’ve never said i’m the “main character of the fandom” (the wording makes me cringe so hard, are you 5?) & i obviously never said/thought that i single-handedly keep the show alive (the show is 2 time emmy nominated, if it helps). i am 1 fan among many who tries to promote the show for more seasons.

therefore i am not monetizing it, are you unable to understand what i said?

mind you, i of course stopped writing the scripts from lestat’s pov the moment someone warned me that i can’t do that. therefore i am not even pushing to sell fanfic. i don’t owe anyone my free writing and if i can’t get something in return from something i spend so much time on, i will not share it

i am responsible for the content i create and i can quite literally choose to sell or not sell what i create, just like you have the right to do whatever you want with your content. i never said i am the main character of this rotten fandom and frankly i am sick of people putting me on a pedestal.

i didn’t start drawing consistently 25 years ago and writing 16 years ago for some dumb fuck to say “they’re not even a writer”, “they DARED to ask for money in return of something THEY created, can you believe?”

especially considering the fact that it takes me 90% of my days, weeks, MONTHS to work on this account & create content despite already being busy, i will sell some of it so that all the time i spend is worth MY time. if you don’t like it, then don’t follow, don’t interact, look at other accounts.

i am a writer & an artist. i wrote/drew stuff & sold them before. you’re either used to being a freeloading leech or you don’t realize that my creative skills didn’t start with iwtv 3 years ago or despite being a writer yourself, you don’t realize how much time & effort it takes to create something.

thank you for your suggestion, i didn’t think of that omg??? rather than expecting to be able to post about my character’s horror show freely, which is the bare minimum and is normal everywhere else, it does make more sense to post about iwtv, known as the “bloody adult vampire show”, with no blood.
