My mom passed away last October. I took her tiny Thanksgiving plant home. I was somewhat disappointed when it didn't produce October blooms, until these first two flowers appeared last week and I realized the plant wasn't named for Canadian Thanksgiving . .
I can imagine mom laughing at this.
