I don't mean to brag, but last night I tidied up both my desktop icons *and* my firefox bookmarks. 😎

Thanks Chris, much appreciated.
My problem isn't necessarily a lack of experience, I'm just particular with making sure the quality is there before releasing files and I prefer being able to prototype the parts myself. 👍
Hey Chris, The short answer is yes. I'd like to get some printed for myself and I don't see a reason not to make them available in some way.
I suspect it might not be very soon though; I don't have access to my own machine at the moment and there'll undoubtedly be some adjustments needed. 😅
Oh! I didn't know you were on Bluesky. Much thanks 😄

I had to look this up.. You're not wrong!
Those old CG renders are nightmare fuel, though. 😅
I'd like to upload them onto either my Gumroad of Kofi.
With my previous miniatures I had access to a good resin printer and was able to do several rounds of testing and adjustment to make sure the kit printed well.
It might take me a little longer now to get the poses optimised and tested. 🤔
Yeh, I found the Eldar's aversion to the Wraiths really interesting.
It raises some fun speculation if the character was significant enough to have a bespoke, ornate construct assembled; But also lamented through the necessity of using it.
I guess the lack of any weapons platforms throws off the scale a bit; but she's intended to be equivalent to the larger Wraithlords.
I don't pay much attention to stat sheets for these kind of explorations, I guess she could proxy a Wraithseer? 😄

10.02.2026 01:10 — 👍 28 🔁 2 💬 0 📌 0The Character from the previous image has been reposed to weild her Spear in a low, aggressive pose.
I spent a bit of time getting the rigging on her working well so I could try out a bunch of poses for the final miniature.
I think this one was one of my favourites.
The image shows a grey render of a miniature designed for the Eldar/Aeldari faction in warhammer 40k. It's a tall, feminine looking robot. It's elongate head has a humanoid face with empty skeleton eyes. Long vanes protrude from her back and she weilds a long spear with a wavey Kris-styled blade.
Every so often I like to design miniatures for 3D printing.
I've always enjoyed the concept of #Eldar Ghost Warriors. But I wanted to try something more unsettling to reflect how abhorrent they are to Eldar culture.

I still see a lot of folks in our community posting on or sharing posts from Twitter.
If you're an Artist or a Creator then you *gotta* get off that platform. There simply isn't any justification for letting it profit from your engagement.
All the cool kids are here now anyway.

If you wanted to appease the corpo overlords you could have snuck in some interesting subtle ornamentation or references to at least generate some conversation around it.
As it stands; it was unimaginative and bland and only went to highlight the race to the bottom that is corporate slop.
Okay, quick Rant:

I traveled through London Waterloo this weekend and I heard a charming brass band doing seasonal songs in front of a big christmas tree.
Disappointingly; Instead of a traditional tree, it was exclusively branded with "Stranger Things" branding.
It was, frankly, very Tacky.
I recently picked up a nice graphics tablet as I've been meaning to do more digital art.
I've had some luck doodling and concepting over 3D models to plan out details, but gosh is it humbling with how hard it is to transition from a 3D background to traditional drawing skills.
Having fun though!

I think I read about this once:~
I recall the gist was that In post WW2 American economy, there was high demand for young working men, so they ended up with a lot of spending power and were able to leave the family home much earlier than in other societies.
I think I'd still like to see him in some gritty tech-noir setting, but it's cool that he's getting interesting roles like that.

Clancy Brown in some kind of bleak sci-fi crime noir.
He could probably carry a regular crime noir, but I feel he would appreciate some robot bartenders thrown in there for good measure.
If you're talking about the rounded square transition on the path texture, that can happen with clamping applied to interpolated texture filtering?

The local supermarket has already started selling Christmas chocolates.
Stop it.
Heck, right now I'm having to doctor my messages to allow for the character limit which impacts how I might want to actually type to get the tone across correctly.
Having a three character sign off to guarantee it's read correctly is pretty useful to some folks.
*shrugs*
The internet is a bigger place now. Larger communities, faster throughput. I think we had an opportunity to learn it in more niche circles where trust was easier to come by.
I think it's kinder to see it as a tool for managing the discrepency than as a judgement on folk's reading level.
