7 yrs ago, July 29th 2018, then 17 y/o Ahed Tamimi & her mother Nariman(the 43) were released by Israel which had kept them captive since Dec 19th 2017 when Ahed had slapped an Israeli occupation soldier after her then 15 y/o cousin Mohamed Tamimi had been shot in face & critically wounded by IOF.

7 years ago, on August 10th 2018, 30-year-old Ahmad Jamal Abu Loly was shot by Israel's occupation forces' sniper during a Great Return March demonstration east of Rafah in Israeli occupied Palestine's Gaza Strip.

He died of his wounds on the next morning.

One of the rooms in the family’s modest house had its walls and ceilings plastered red with their blood after the attack, with Bayan’s toys laying among rubble.
