What is Page One? We are a small team of volunteers who strongly believe in your right to an education and that education should be free and accessible to all. We are leveraging our qualifications and experience in the industry to provide free classes in creative writing to adult learners in Bath and North East Somerset.

The Classes. Each of the 20 sessions is split into three parts: a seminar, the writing exercise, and a short workshop. Our topics include themes, dialogue, plot structure, character, and more. We explore fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, scriptwriting, and writing for the stage. We also invite local, published writers to speak on some of these topics or host Q&As.
