when i hit 1.1k i'll do an art raffle. i cannot promise it'll be good, i'm still an amateur at art, but i will still try to do my best at it lol

daily art helped me get my foot in the art world for sure, but i don't think i can keep it up. i still have plenty of ideas! i still want to make digital art for sure! maybe even commissions! but not daily art. not yet, anyway.

that said, this only applies to daily art. i absolutely LOVE creating stuff, getting my ideas down on paper is something i enjoy doing thanks to this! i just don't think i can easily do it with the "daily" constraint.

i've begun to notice that i really don't like doing daily art. i've noticed that my mind is starting to treat it like homework, or a chore, or just... something that "i HAVE to get done." i don't think i can keep it up if that's the case, at least not right now.

Daily Art 8

Didn't have much time after pushing back a drawing to tomorrow, so I drew the Power Grip from M:ZM. Did another randomizer today and had it locked behind, I kid you not, screw attack, gravity suit, hi-jump, speed booster, and space jump. Normally you get this thing before Kraid.

Probably the thing that my mind brings up first whenever I think of Stardew Valley's Squidfest is that sign. So, I decided to draw that today.

Art of the Horse Call from Twilight Princess. The wooden horseshoe-shaped instrument is attached to a string, with beads adorning said string. The art is colored in as if it were a child's drawing (though also the actual artist is still getting used to using colors in the art program lol)

Daily Art 6

Twilight Princess is probably my favorite Zelda game, though I haven't thought about it for a while and was surprised to have Ilia's theme stuck in my head when I came out of the shower.

So, I drew the horse call.

I tried to go for a style that resembled a child's drawing for this lol

Funny how this is the first time I drew my own sona... but also I'm just in a mermaid phase I suppose. I just think they're pretty..

Might add color at some point but for the time being I do like it how it is. Also I need to prepare for stream so I just don't have the time lol

Day 4 will be merged with day 5 and beyond if necessary. I have had zero motivation between the dog throwing up and the scary situation I mentioned on main, and only got an early WIP done.

Let it cook, it knows what it's doing. It just needs to work on a day that's NOT today.

Amateur artist's recreation of Terraria's greedy ring. It has a large red gem in the center, with bands of gold, red, and gold again on either side. The ring itself is very dark gray.

Played some Terraria today. I have now used up all my luck for the remainder of the month getting ALL THREE COMPONENTS OF THE GREEDY RING WITHIN FIVE SECONDS OF EACH OTHER. I'm serious.

Anyway take this very quick sketch of the Greedy Ring because I don't have too much time to get this done lol

Sketch of a cake. The cake has three layers, with icing all around them and even in between them. The cake is missing a slice. On top are five candles, all lit, and the word "SHAW" is written on the top (though it is blocked by some of the candles and a little bit of it is missing due to the aforementioned slice). This cake is in reference to the cake that people have recently associated with Silksong being at the Switch 2 direct on April 2nd, 2025, which Leth dismissed at the time but eventually (somehow) turned out to be real.
