Little bit of trivia about twin sticks in FPS on PS1: Medal of Honor in 1999 pips Alien Resurrection to the post on having modern FPS controls. BUT, the only reason why it's a lesser-known example is because they're buried away as the *fourth* option after a couple of really odd ones.

I appreciate it! I do need to get more of them cause I have been neglecting them lately.

And I try not to, because character rewrites can get messy, but sometimes it's inevitable. My older characters that I still use have been through the ringer a few times, Cole and Sydney for instance have largely kept their original personalities but have had aspects of them shifted around.

Typically when I create a character, it begins with a base concept. Usually a design or personality as the basis. Sometimes I'll have a story idea in mind and need a role filled, and just build from there. It's rare I have an entire OC figured out in one go, they tend to be a process.

Right now I'd say my favorite ones are my sci-fi characters; I've put a lot of effort into backstories for them, though if I had to single out any in particular, it'd be the dragon twins, Roshi and Kari. Least favorite... Basically any OC I made pre-2017, with a few exceptions like Cole and Sydney.

Bored tonight while dog-sitting. AMA, character stuff preferred but really anything goes.
