Which universities I wonder. I can venture a guess it's the big two... which is far from the reality the rest of the industry is facing.

This alarming statistic begs the question, is it still reasonable to base academic promotions criteria on external funding success?

Yeah... because the likes of Oxford and Cambridge and other top flight universities across the UK really needed this relative to the rest of the academic sector in the UK. This is such a shame.

* setting up a low-noise lab
* consistent electrode placement
* digital filtering
* amplitude normalisation

A great job opening at Newcastle University, which is just across the road from us at Northumbria. This is an amazing city and a great opportunity.
