Since I became a full-time nomad I've had the privilege of meeting a handful of folks I only knew from Twitter and every time it was a gd delight

Main street was busy yesterday so I had to park about 5 blocks away from the place where I'd called in an order. As I'm walking back to my car with this giant pizza box every dad I passed said "oh is that for me?" while their kids laughed uproariously. Small towns are fun

Unbeknownst to me beforehand, the last 2 books I've read have involved walks through the Mendip Hills, where I spent most of May this year

The only day I can remember saying nope I'm good and shutting things down for a while was when everyone got mad at the lady who liked to have morning coffee with her husband

I saw half a dozen wild turkeys and 3 black bears on my walk this morning

August...I think folks appreciated the air conditioning as well

Yep! The original plan was to have the ceremony at Seeds community garden and then do a bike parade to the building for the reception but the aforementioned weather issues meant we moved the entire thing indoors. I don't think anyone minded - it was a lovely venue

I got married in that building! I honestly think the only reason they stopped doing weird stuff outside on that day was because there was torrential rain (for which I am eternally grateful)

Also Wells, where they filmed the movie, is a (very small) city with an actual cathedral! I had to take the bus there to get groceries when I was in rural Somerset and if I stayed in town later than 6 pm I had to walk back to the village where I was staying

This inspired me to watch it last night and after spending a few months in rural England this spring it definitely hit different. I especially appreciated that they were raising money for the church roof because that is something that happens in literally every village in the UK

I love these! So convenient.

And also I've been in and out of that airport enough times in the last 2 years that I know exactly where that picture was taken

Started a new pet sit today in northern Michigan. All three dogs have already jumped in the lake, and I think I will be joining them soon.
