Today, in West Hollywood, we pause to honor International Holocaust Remembrance Day, not only to honor the victims, but also to confront hate in our own time. As antisemitism and intolerance surge, remembrance is an act of responsibility. Never forget. Never again.

The City of West Hollywood condemns in the strongest possible terms the recent use of deadly force by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Border Patrol agents in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which has resulted in the tragic deaths of Renee Nicole Macklin Good and Alex Jeffrey Pretti.

We've begun painting existing bike lanes green to boost cyclist safety and visibility. Nighttime work is underway now and expected to wrap up by February 20, helping create safer, more bike-friendly streets citywide.
