Almost crashed out trying to fight the last few megs in the storm and the fog, but I finally turned in the teeth to once again be 100% with the Hunter's Call!

Do you want to keep the taskbar visible? You should be able to set it to fullscreen when the servers are back and you can get into the settings, but you wouldn't see the taskbar then.

The black bars are there because of the top bar and the taskbar, so no, not if you want to keep either of those. The game will render at your chosen resolution, and then scale that output to the available space, but it won't distort the image to fit into a different aspect ratio container.

As far as I can tell I've just passed 15 years as Captain Nikomus - long before #SeaOfThieves! I made my Xbox gamertag to use Games for Windows Live on DiRT 2, and these are my oldest achievements from 10/08/2010

An Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark Lego set with one and a half sections complete. The complete section has a boulder, skeleton and lots of spiders. There are few Lego mini figures of supporting characters in the foreground.
