Also...my lack of experience charting out songs by ear isn't helping either...I think this is only the 3rd of 4th song I've tried really properly charting by ear so far.

To clarify: I'm trying to chart out the song 'Veruca Salt' that he did for the Charlirle and the Chocolate Factory movie, and it's proving to be much tougher than I thought it would be.

Also I really hoped we'd get an announcement for a SW2 edition of Minecraft, but I'll still hold out hope for Minecraft Live later this month for that announcement (please Mojang don't take 3 years to do this...)

I was really hoping for some Animal Crossing teasers but I've been thinking that there's no way that will even get teased until Tomodachi is out of the way.

In my furthering quest of "damn good indie games I've been playing"...1000xResist is absolutely amazing. Simply can't reccomend it enough.

I don't want to dog on the game too much because it's clearly a lovingly crafted game and I did enjoy it. But the gender stuff just threw me for a loop, especially as a non-binary person who like...very much doesn't meet the "woman-lite" very of nb that some people hold in their heads.

Also like...OK so nb people can become witches too but all the witches (at least that I came across) use she/her and seem to identify as women...so does becoming a witch in this world mean deleting your nonbinary identity??? Like...what...

It feels like the game and story really WANTS to confront it's relationship with gender but when it tries it gives up and sweeps it under the rug.

Mind you the scene with the out of nowhere rule changs is also the scene where the characters ask "oh yeah why can't men become witches?" They can't come to an answer...and then dance it off (admittedly the chars are high and saying goodbye to each other)

But then later in the game the statement of the witch rules is changed to say that "only women and non-binary people can ascend to witch-hood" Despite never coming across a single character in my playthough who ever went by neutral pronouns. So we're doing the "non-binary is woman-lite" thing......

During one part of the game you "force" (but not really but also kinda yeah) a character to transition because "only women can be witches" in this world. Ok. Fine. Sure. Credit where credit is due the characters express her displeasure at finding out she's trans from the witches instead of herself.

Just got done playing a game called 'The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood'. Overall it was pretty enjoyable and had a strong narrative...but it interacts with gender as a concept in a way I wasn't super crazy about...
