Every morning I play a fun little game:

Am I unable to get out of bed because of illness, stress at work, perimenopausal sleep, unprecedented world events, or an impending sense of doom?

When you tow great grandma’s 1940s stereo console and 50 albums from Detroit to Boston then pay an old guy at a cash-only record repair shop to fix it, and then spend several hours cleaning out 65 years of Camel Unfiltered Smoke residue, Lawrence Welk Christmas is the obvious choice to play first.

Have felt that way for a few years

We put up a hummingbird feeder last summer. Officially in our old person era.

Not surprising that this year, only half of the pre-lit tree will light. Must be a metaphor for sadness in there somewhere.
