Today, March 18th, is the first anniversary of Yuli’s finished design and character sheet, as well as the day I finally decided on his name.

Since then, it’s been a year of finally getting art of mg own characters and working on the insane world he inhabits. Through him, I’ve renewed my creativity.

“Everything breaks. Except for me.”

“I can sometimes tell certain ones apart, but the rest all meld together.”

“Humans all look the same to me.”

“Fix me? I’ll break you.”

Humanity is his guise; the beast within known only in battle.

His blood dries into an obsidian black and some relief is finally known now that the last fragment is removed, leaving the demihuman rattled and winded.

How he hates guns and those who wield them.

Yellow, inhuman ichor spills and coats the removed shrapnel shards, the wound itself looking more like shattered pottery than broken skin.

Manually extracting a fragmented musket ball from his ribcage, his teeth dug into a rag throughout the process.

Cooking.

Not for him.

Civilization is… tolerable, though he grows restless. His very nature conflicts with the peace around him.

He departs far from any trace of settlement to do what he must, to quench that innate craving for battle in whatever form the wilds provide.

“Ah, hm. That is what a man…also likes to hear.” The phrase practically tumbled out, alien and barely understood by the voice speaking it.

Has his feet tied to a tree branch to allow himself to dangle upside down from it, his preferred sleeping position.
