More than half my family and life-long friends are right-wing trumpets. I keep engagement to updates on my MS journey, cats, books, movies. I do this for my mental sanity/safety.

Correction: haven’t been home since 6/13/2024.

I have nothing exciting to post. I am still in a SNF for PT, my medical leave will run out on 12/13/24, and I will be terminated from my job. I’ve not been home since 7/13/2024. 6 months trying to teach my legs how to walk. I have MS. Diagnosed at 55 in June of 2023.

Looking svelte

Don’t go to the theatre or dinner theatre to see Mamma Mia, Cats, White Christmas, Hamilton, the Lion King, the whole audience sings and for Mamma Mia, dances. I am one of them.

Another unasked for suggestion are UGGs and have warm calves or the LL Bean sheep skin slippers. I haven’t tried uggs but I do have the fleece-lined crocs and the slippers

This is not new nor is it limited to mental health. My doctors typically have to argue and argue and fight for my MS care and then I have to appeal and beg for the care, which I don’t always get because, not “medically necessary”.My employer self-funds UHC and ultimately has final say so, no mostly.

Unasked for suggestion: get the crocs with the fake fleece, warm and toasty. Or, just wear wool socks with your crocs
