For very long term viewers of my disjointed output, here's a Carpool flashback with a difference, Katie White, MP, Climate Minister, drives me around in her electric Fiat 500.

Price of Crude Oil WTI (USD/Bbl) over a five-year period, spanning from 2021 to early 2026. The chart shows a significant price peak in 2022 reaching over $120, followed by a general downward trend with various fluctuations, eventually hitting a low near $55 in late 2025 before a sharp vertical spike to the current price of 90.900. This recent surge represents an increase of +23.880 (+35.63%), highlighted in green text above the blue line graph.
The real insanity isnβt how much oil prices have spiked, itβs that weβre still burning oil for energy.

Found this little beauty in an old diary. I didn't make it up. Don't know who did.
Remember there's nothing to stop you living your dreams, apart from thousands of far more talented people working much harder than you.
Two of our presenters, Imogen and Jack, both drive electric cars and both have nowhere to charge at home. I readily agree that it is harder and can be more expensive.
Of courese we need more charging, and legislation to force landlords to fit chargers in multi occupation dwellings with car parks
Just heard that enquiries to various car companies in the UK about their pure electric models have increased 'tenfold' in the last week. Interesting not petrol hybrids, which obviously require petrol, all the time... because they're petrol powered vehicles.
Just an observation.
Just to explain, the rather catchy and memorable URL for my bookshop is a temporary holding thing. It will have a proper one soon.

My new bookshop has very limited stock, but it's open for modest business. New and old titles are coming.
Have a look.

Just up on the Everything Electric (nee Fully Charged Show) blog. Are electric vans up to the job?
(Hint, of course they are for goodness sake)

I hope you enjoy watching these as much as I enjoy putting them together. And yes, electric vehicles outsold petrol burners for the first time!!

Iβm so glad to read this Ketan, I find those two betting sites truly evil.

Brrrr. A very chilly review of a really impressive electric car.

Um, you know the whole war, oil price, violent absurdity and waste thing.
Explainify this.
Venezuela, world's biggest oil and gas reserves.
Iran, world's second biggest oil and gas reserves.
Surely it's simplistic to suggest there's a link?
Would it be a sensible option to reduce our dependency?
I've just written a review of the 100% electric Citroen e-Dispatch. It might be moving in more ways than one.

Top oil reserve countries on Earth:
1 - Venezuela β
2- UAE
3 - Iran β
4 - Canada
Any questions?
There's always a fucking tweet. Always.

Bombing Iran. Iran retaliating, clever.
Now no one is talking about the Epstein files and the 38,000 mentions that the old orange loser achieves.
Very clever, and also applauding and tragic.
A picture of Epstein, Clinton, and the Maxwell woman whoβs in prison.
Remember that bloke who said he did βnot have sexual relations with that woman.β
You know, talking about the woman he had sex with.
Well, he hung about with trumps best pal, on his island, but saw and did βnothing wrong.β
LOL.
A poster advertising the Latitude festival with pictures of some very clever scientists and academics. . . and me.

Very sad news about Rob Grant, who, along with Doug Naylor created the long running comedy series Red Dwarf.
He passed away on Wednesday, Rob was a very funny man with a talent for stinging reposts.
When I was in Australia, 2 things happened. It was sunny, and I went for a walk on a farm that was covered in nearly 1 million solar panels. And 6,500 very happy sheep.

My word, that articulated lorry tractor unit, or 'semi' with a central driver position looks rather familiar, except it's a bit cheaper and goes a bit further.

If I was to produce an updated reprint of 'The Man in the Rubber Mask,' and sell signed copies of it through my upcoming modern online bookshop, would anyone buy it?
That's the big question. For me.
Screenshot of the Amazon page advertising my book 'News from Gardenia.' The price ranged from Β£32.01 pence to Β£98.54 pence. Delivery between 7th and 10th March.
I'm half way through setting up a little online bookshop. I've been pondering how much to charge for dedicated signed books.
Just checked Amazon to see how much they charge . . . . .
I just might undercut them a bit.
A headline from the magazine auto express. It reads βelectric car batteries are lasting a lot longer than expectedβ.
My favourite headline of the day. I wonder who might have tried to imply they wouldnβt last very long. I mean, you know, which industry would benefit from everyone worrying about battery life?
