Well, to be fair the Democratic Party has not delivered much for European media to write about of lately. Media is focused on breaking news and politicians who stand out in various way. Good stories breaking new ground. With Trump and his croonies dominant in the media picture the Dems need profile.

Their licenses to broadcast are under pressure from Trump and his appointed croonies..

The point of any authoritarian administration is to take over power of the media and every other branch of divided power in a democracy by all means.. that means lying when necessary, bullying when necessary and just using whatever means necessary to achieve absolute power of society..

It is extremely naiive to think of MAGA as being only Trump. Hitler was Der Führer for the Nazi Party in Germany equivalent to Trump as front figur of MAGA. But back stage a lot of ideologically influenced people took the Nazi Party to power in all branches of society with or without the law..

All Magats suffer from UTAS. Unlimited Trump Adoration Syndrom.. which takes away the free will and the ability to form your own opinions and removes the ability to see through well planned misinformation and lies presented by The President and his administration.

Trump has never heard of less is more design.. Looks like a copy paste of the Kremlin! The Trump Golden Ballroom White House materializing while millions of Americans are going hungry and loosing their health care access..

But instead of health care they will have a Trump Golden Ballroom White House which they are never going to either visit nor see. And all the extremely rich oligarchs (with their enormous tax cuts) have access to prime health care services.. rest assured.. they know how to look after each other..

What is it with authoritarian regime leaders? Gold and marple everywhere. Never heard of less is more design. The White House is turning into a copy past of The Kremlin. All that is missing are soldiers with funny looking very tall hats opening the doors for the almighty when he needs the loo..
