also the big one is after finishing the 5 episodes that are out i'm left with a feeling that if i played it again with different attributes/choices it'd be totally different but also a suspicion that it would turn out not to be THAT different which is exactly the dragon age experience

actually what i'm learning from this game is that if you set foot outside the big cities in america that is very much the case

there's a fixed main story but different members of the gang appearing depending on your choices, an episodic structure, there's lots of choices with no good outcome, consistently great player dialogue options, and of course, everyone is bisexual

having the best kind of saturday where i stay in and play indie narrative games all day. today was scarlet hollow! it's a horror vn set in appalachia but weirdly it kind of reminds me of... dragon age 2...

it's probably lucky for a web show to get a release at all these days! the advantages of being such an old series i guess, the precedent was set back in 2012 when physical media was an entirely different thing to what it is now

i didn't even like this volume but i still think it deserved better than this lol

the extreme saucelessness of these releases makes it hard to believe viz cares much about rwby at all, like aside from the bland render and posing, how do you design a volume 8 cover without winter or ironwood on it? without penny??
