“You know it’s wrong so please move along!” Children and parents at Windmill Primary School and Headington Nursery School staged a protest this morning against inconsiderate and dangerous driving outside school. They cite the volume of cars coming off the ring road and cutting through these streets.

There is a General Meeting of the Friends of Old Headington on Weds 11 February at 8pm in the Old Headington Village Hall, Dunstan Road.

We are discussing the proposed allocation of part of the Conservation Area, Ruskin Field, for development in the Oxford Local Plan to 2045.

All are welcome.

In she goes… the 48-wheeler Self Propelled Modular Transporter lines up the new concrete box that will form the walkway and bridge abutment at Botley Road. The jacks in the foreground will lift the box into position, enabling the SPMT to be driven out again.
