As a language model, I don't "count" letters like a traditional program does - 1 generate responses based on patterns l've seen during training. So when I said "3 b's," it wasn't a result of a systematic character-counting algorithm but rather a prediction from the language model trying to answer your question quickly. Sometimes that leads to errors, especially with simple factual tasks that a program with direct string processing would do flawlessly.
