We’re not going to “fix the Democrats’ brand” by doing TikToks or launching pods. The brand is a direct reflection of our elected officials. If we want to purge our weak branding, we have to purge the weak Dems. I’m looking forward to a robust primary cycle and new Democrats who know how to fight.

Schumer & Jeffries should have the integrity to resign from their positions in leadership. They've failed, badly. Either they cannot control their caucuses or they're lying & secretly pushed this vote through behind the scenes.

Either way, their betrayal of the American people is indefensible.

I have argued for the longest time that Chuck Schumer should resign as Dem leader in the Senate. That he can’t hold his caucus in line over the government shutdown proves I am right.

Don’t let Schumer off easy. He rallied these eight votes and then he voted no to keep his hands clean. You say it feels like they picked them based on who’s retiring and who isn’t up for reelection for a while, you’re right, but instead of being a they it’s a he, Chuck Schumer.
