Pess sniffed the ankle monitor. Miles chuckled.

"Not quite, but we still don't want to push our luck. You can sit on the front porch, if you'd like. Or take a nap."

He ran a hand through their hair.

"It's entirely up to you."

Miles chuckled as he started the car.

"I believe Trucy is with Pearls this evening. You may do whatever you like once we're home~"

He pulled out of the parking space and began the drive home. He hummed to himself along the way.

"Well. . ."

Miles checked his watch.

"I would too, but Pess wouldn't appreciate missing her afternoon walk."

Pess poked her head around the corner. Miles chuckled.

"Oh, did I say your favorite word?"

It must be this weather. Would you like to borrow my coat?

"Why all the way up there when I'm already down here~?"

Miles kissed Phoenix's cheek and opens the passenger door for him.

"After you~"

God, what a pathetic parasite he is. . . I'm so glad Phoenix doesn't have to deal with him anymore.

"You certainly don't act like it."

"What an irritating nuisance. Shouldn't you be in school?"

Miles looked down at them after a bit.

"Comfortable?"

Miles held Phoenix's hand as they walked. He realized Phoenix was going to crash into the post and gasped.

"Phoenix!"

He grabbed onto him and pulled Phoenix away.

"You clumsy man."

Miles pulled the blanket over them and rested his hand in their hair. He played with it idly while he watched the show.

"Alright, love."

Miles, for once, let Phoenix pay. He gathered up his things and put his coat on while the waiter took the bill.

"You say that like it's a bad thing~"

That's good. It's very unique, very Klavier. You should be proud of it.

"Hm?"

Miles finally turned to look at the table.

"Oh, goodness. How rude of us. Well, it appears they left us the bill regardless."

He turned to Phoenix again.

"I've got the bill, you've got the tip?"

How horrid. I'm very sorry, Klavier.

"I love you too."

Miles dropped his hand to take Phoenix's.

"More than anything."

Don't listen to him. He's clearly lost his mind.

Miles was also red. He chuckled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck.

"You do too."

"Of course. Whatever you want."

Miles put his arms around Phoenix and kissed him back with a hum. His hand reached up into Phoenix's hair.

"We can easily make it a reality. My home is also yours, I want to make you as comfortable as possible."

"Oh, please."

He playfully pushed Phoenix away.

"As if you're any better, Mr. Wright."

Miles chuckled.

"If you want to look at it that way. I was thinking more along the lines of making the space yours."

Miles gently took Phoenix's face in his hands. Then he licked the cream off Phoenix's nose.

Miles pulled them in and kissed the top of their head.

"Perhaps I can bring you some of your own."

Miles took his glasses off to wipe his eyes.

"Ooh. . . goodness. I'm afraid you must. Unless you want me to clean it off."

Miles nodded, then paused in thought.

"I have a couple. They're bears dressed as The Steel Samurai and The Evil Magistrate. I used to keep them on my bed when I got nightmares, but if it'll make you feel better I can bring them back out."
