My grandfather was an air force vet from Texas. He loved my grandmother from the first day they met. They had over 70 years of marriage w/3 kids my mom being one of them. He &my grandma were my favorite people &not a day goes by that I don’t wish for just 5mins with them. They both died of cancer

While I am sad for his children, I am not sad he is gone. He spewed disgusting hate speech towards so many that I can’t feel bad for him. He died by the one of the things he advocated for. He didn’t care when it was other people’s children, but Im supposed to because its him…nope cant do it!

9/11 is such a tough day for me. Not only do I mourn the death of that day, but sadly my grandfather who I miss so much died on 9/11/2020. Its just a crappy day all around, but I will never forget.

I completely understand that and that’s the hardest part…doing nothing because you know she needs it. My ex had hit rock bottom and almost died before he realized I was right in telling him he needed to get clean. Sometimes you have to let them hit rock bottom.

I’m proud to say that to this day he has not had a drink or done a drug since. Im so proud of who he has become. This was back in 2006. While our marriage improved after the incident we both knew it just wouldn’t be the same every again and we divorced. Honestly it was for the best.

As an ex wife of a recovered alcoholic, I used tough love. My ex put me through extreme trauma and I was left with the decision of keeping him alive. I told him when he came to that nice had gone out the window and if he wanted to get better it was going to be hard work but that it would be worth it

Baby princess has had a lot of firsts this week. She got to experience her first rain 🌧️ storm and her first trip to the cemetery to visit her uncle Carlos who we miss each and every day. She fell asleep on the way home.
