Northen Karcani (not sure if they will have a name of their own) Inhabits Arica, Parinacota, Tarapacá, Antofagasta, Atacama and Coquimbo. They are built slimer and less muscular, and shorter fur with the exeption of their manes, which are still long, chest, hands , feet , tail underside and sometimes snout loses fur to facilitate perspiration. Horns and claws (teeth sometimes) have a tendency to become colored due to the metal and other substances in their surroundings, entering their bodies via food/drink, most prominently copper, they are not polished however, it looks rusted and it's a sign of contamination. Really good runners, the sand doesn't slow them down and their skin is resitant to the heat, soo they don't get hurt by it. Their kind is becoming rare as they had been slowly dying off due to the contamination caused by mining , the heavy metals in the ambience have shortened their lifespan a lot, in some even half of other Karcani subspecies (which live around 120-150 years), they are also more coming to see arround humans and other species, the desperation has drives some of them to abandon their cubs in cities to be taken care off and adapt to what could be a better life, at least that's what some of them really hope for.
