The Alejibre Project: Tacoma Artists Bring Dream Creatures to Life Along 6th Avenue For this year's Dia de los Muertos celebration, we were inspired by the vibrant art form of Alejibres - playful, imaginative creatures that spark curiosity and wonder.

I participated in a local arts project for Tacoma Cienfuegos Sister City Org! These little paper mache sculptures are placed in various businesses on 6th Ave in Tacoma and will be displayed for the rest of October. Vote for your favorite Alejibre! Rules in the pics

convention artist hot take: don't do events where the organizers don't respect artists. it just allows them to keep disrespecting us and giving us the bare minimum. a lot of attendees come to cons specifically for artist alley, so we do have some power to leverage better conditions for all of us.
