Today, we are recognizing the 6 species at the zoo that are currently listed as endangered - Red Panda, Radiated Tortoise, Golden-lion Tamarin, Crowned lemur, Ring-tailed lemur; as well as the critically endangered Black-and-white ruffed lemurs.

Shout out to our friends at Wilmington State Parks for helping us add 3 new elevated lemur shelters to the Madagascar habitat.
All three species have been observed utilizing them. The lemurs have scent marked the shelters, so we think they approve! 🐒👍
