Some consultant or manager who wasn't an artist themselves (there's no way it wasn't) decided the head needed to be that large and it speaks to the pain of every artist in a game-related role ever.

Just being a part of it and helping others feel comfortable in themselves does so much. Social media makes it sometimes feel like it should be about us but it's so much better to make it about everyone else and celebrating your obsessions with them.

A lot of the work I do here really just boils down to the fact I’m a huge fan of everyone else’s OCs, kinks and the community.
It’s awesome to make things in the same space I was fawning over for so long before drawing it. I love that others love similar stuff to me and that’s really it 💜

I enjoyed NMS and adore their commitment but it remains that the core gameplay loop has maybe only 20-40 hrs of appeal for most folks.
You gotta reaaaally be into what they’re offering. Starfield’s probably a little easier to swallow for folks not looking to grind resources for *everything.*

There was one that Microsoft conducted on themselves that was similarly alarming. The conclusion was that if AI is used for an abundance of low-stakes tasks, it reduces our efficacy at high-stakes tasks that only humans can perform. Dire stuff.

Eventually manual artists can't compete with AI-assisted artists, and then AI-assisted artists can't compete with commissioners using AI tools themselves. The furry art market dries up because of a technology illegitimately built on their creative labor.

Please. Buy from artists who avoid AI.

AI is the most nefarious wealth transfer in modern art history. It very explicitly takes money distributed among a market of millions of artists and funnels it into the pockets of a few AI developers.
AI isn't made for artists to work faster. That's just an interim step to them being replaced.
