Totally! It’s a little distinct from my own preferences in actual intimacy (naturally, can’t really do many of those things IRL haha) but still related to it.
I think even if I’m a rubber creature with a nulge who never penetrates and just rubs/frots/cuddles it’s still just as intimate.

Intimacy has always sort of intimidated me. I think one of the most important personal developments I’ve made recently is that I resonate more with being rubber creatures frotting and cuddling than I do with being humans fucking and sweating.

Feels great to understand my needs better.

Not strictly upset but more a passing yearning that I experience.
I agree that "coolness" fluctuates but I don't think a colorful fat goo monster with a huge leaky dong will ever quite overlap with what's cool and palatable in the same way that a sleek black rubber dragon with red eyes does 😅

I think there’s also general “accessible” aesthetics. Elegance, fit bodies, conventionally beautiful creatures, etc. that are more palatable.

Fat gloopy monsters and giant dongs are a little unbecoming. You can’t hide your candid freakiness behind baseline aesthetic appeal with them as much.

Certainly wasn’t fishing for compliments with this but I deeply appreciate the sentiments all the same 💜

This was more to empathise with what many probably feel in their own work at some point or another. Remind your art friends that their stuff is cool because sometimes they just need it ✨
