As SNAP cutoff looms, Mass. to double November funding for food banks - The Boston Globe Massachusetts will provide $8 million — up from $4 million — for the Massachusetts Emergency Food Assistance Program for November, Healey said.

Days before federal SNAP funding is set to run out, Governor Maura Healey announced that Massachusetts will double its support for food banks and pantries for next month to help bridge the gap.

Republicans are counting on 40+ years of Reaganism and prosperity-gospel propaganda to make sure Americans who can't afford food will blame themselves and not their govt. So far, generally, they've been right about that. We need to cure this country from Reaganism as quickly as possibly.
