Following on, insurance willing (because of course), be sure to get second opinions, third opinions. Modern medical science is amazing, my mom has been cancer free for years now, but there is still variance, different doctors and clinics have different courses of action.

I've seen my mom through two bouts and it's not something I'm going to pretend is easy. The uncertainty and slow roll of information at the beginning was the hardest part for us. Once you get a dx and a plan, it just becomes following the steps, getting through it. Lots of love to you and your dad
