Thank you @raskin.house.gov for going out and saying what so few are. The Trump administration is stealing the power of the purse from congress. The budget becomes meaningless in that situation.

They need to actually listen to the voters and not just the words from news headlines. Put some thought into a persuasive argument and not just state something they promised isn't coming true. Focus on making people mad about something else and then remind them about prices.

We fight this by getting the non democrats public enraged. The only way to stop this is making congress more afraid of not defying Trump than defying him. Right now, focus on making them uncertain and uncomfortable with what is happening & use pro democracy independent media to share information.

The Trump administration is taking away funding and jobs the Biden administration provided. We have to find a way to message that.

In the ongoing search for better messaging, I think we should frame what is happening as the government no longer honoring contracts. People understand what that means.

100% our goal is control the kind of discourse takes place, not gatekeep who can contribute to conversations. Force people to be civil, not have your ideas.

There’s been a kind of…fashion of late to view anti-Trump libs as lame and cringe and just annoying, aesthetically. I remember this exact same aesthetic judgment in the run-up to the Iraq war. The earnest libs were right then and they’re right now.

I spoke to former Treasury and OMB officials, and they said Elon Musk accessing government payment systems could give him the power to selectively turn off payments. They described what this really means in very clarifying terms. See below:

What value does a statement provide? Is this the best way for Jeffries to be shining a light on what is happening? Doing the same thing and expecting different results is the definition of insanity, which is what this feels like.
