Will Corey Landowski be servicing, oh sorry, I mean will Mr Landowski be in service to Mr Mullin, and have to fetch his "blankie" sex toy go bag when they fly off into the sunset? ๐ค

Yup, have definitely noticed Shell is the worst of them, with BP not far behind. Thankfully my need to drive is minimal, but my partner has to drive to and from - it's madness for him to take an assortment of buses and S-Bahn trains for over an hour for a twenty minute drive. ๐ฌ๐ซฃ
So, we suck it up!
Partial shot of a petrol station receipt, showing the current Super E10 price at 1,909 euros per litre
Oh great, over 20 cents a litre more for petrol. Just what the world needs!! ๐คช๐
And this particular Tankstelle is one of the cheaper ones in the wider area of Groร-Gerau, the area where I live. Shell charges even more! ๐คฌ
Well, I'm only just seeing it now as I'm in the middle of Germanifying my accounting qualifications, so am learning all of the HGB regs, and that's when ยง comes in handy!! ๐ซฃ๐ฌ
Usually, I'm more focused on the numbers keypad! ๐ค๐
Does Mizz Mensch not realise that Christianity exists in Iran, albeit heavily restricted? If the Pope wants to express concern, why shouldn't he. I'll bet it irks the US regime that Leo is not "one of them" the way they'd like him to be!

Me, today, discovering the beloved ยง (section symbol) found in much of German legal/bureaucratic literature has its own little key on the QWERTZ keyboard.
Doh! ๐ซฃ๐
I've only been living in Germany for five years! ๐๐
Yup! My sister (with British passport) lives in Ireland with her non-EU family as it was too expensive for her to settle in the UK at the time. So they went to Ireland, and have now lived there long enough to apply for Irish citizenship. Hilariously my sister will then be disadvantaged re: EU FoM. ๐ฌ
01.03.2026 13:19 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yes, I'm aware of that, but their relationship with the UK is unique to that of the rest of the EU/EEA (see also dual nationals, CTA, etc.). My partner is Irish, so we've often had this same discussion, while I'm Norwegian and had lived in the UK for almost 20 years when the referendum was done.

๐ I like simple! I tend to agree, but when I lived in the UK, people would argue that spring began on the equinox date, and I'd say either works, but they were adamant! ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ
That's not to say that the frost won't be lurking for another month or two... so planting needs to be carried out with care. ๐ฌ
Pictured are three white rabbits, symbols of good luck.
Pictured is an Easter cactus in full bloom, with dark and light peach-coloured flowers.
White rabbits, white rabbits!!
Happy March, everyone - three weeks until we get longer evenings! While spring is technically here, I know many don't consider it so until the clocks spring forward.
Gorgeous sunshine here, and my Easter cactus is looking gorgeous!
This!!! Especially concerning the referendum... it boiled my piss that Irish & Commonwealth citizens could vote on something that had no direct affect on them, but EU and EEA citizens were not allowed to vote, and essentially it was our presence that was being objected to, thanks to FoM inwards. ๐

Or, here's a thought, Nige... you and your rancid racist friends aren't as popular as your Twatter army say you are?! ๐ค
The trouble with being in an echo chamber is that it's all echo, and no substance, just the same shitty rhetoric bouncing off the scummy walls of empty (incl. bot?) minds. ๐
Haggis isn't as rude... ๐น

'Gingerbird' aka Feathers McGraw, a Christmas-themed figurine.
'Fleece Navidad' aka Shaun the Sheep
'Jingles' aka Gromit
Me, opening an email from Gromit Unleashed (I've been an ardent Aardman supporter since the early days), thinking I'll be perusing and then deleting the email.
And then I saw this little beauty!!
Bish, bash, ordered!! ๐
It will join my other Christmas figurines, Fleece Navidad and Jingles! ๐
Lol, no, to be truthful, I haven't. I've not bought myself chocolate for a long while, and my last full box was sent by my lovely sister, and it was crammed full of assorted bars! I've got one bar of the Biscoff left... ๐ซฃ๐ฌ
24.02.2026 18:28 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Ah, okay... to be truthful, I've not bought blades in ๐ฉ๐ช, so have never seen them boxed up. I guess it depends on store layout, ease of exit, etc. ๐ค

Oh, I'm well aware of that, but I've not seen chocolate being boxed up in plastic boxes here in Germany, for fear of theft. ๐ฌ
Having said that, similarly, spirit alcohol isn't strangled with a tag on each bottle either (not where I live, at least). Ditto razor blades, baby formula, etc. ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
So, if women can't get divorces, this surely means men can't either. Right? RIGHT?
I do wonder what Kruger's upbringing was like, given his mother's relationship with his father began as a 13 year affair, before Kruger Snr. divorced his first wife to marry Prue Leith. Danny was an illegitimate kid.
What the heck is going on over there?! I know chocolate is nice, and Cadbury has a decent reputation (although some might disagree, because "Kraft") but this?? ๐ณ

20km away, called Loop5, which I've been to twice since moving here in 2020, and the big Main-Taunus-Zentrum where I've been about three times in five years! I'm not a big shopper, in general... I like small independent stores, with quirky contents! ๐

In our Dorf, we've got very few shops... the nearest cluster is 2.5km away, and it has everything we'd need at a pinch, but we do go to the Kaufland 15km away, as the variety can sometimes be limited. We have a small mall about
