The one year I went to Anthrocon, somehow I got a room in the Westin. It still didn’t fee convenient, though. You still have like eight hotels and the waterfront to walk between so you better have your tennis/running shoes handy. It’s even somewhat of a slog over to the actual convention center.

The reason I don’t get excited about Pride Month (June or October) is the same principle that I base Christmas around: Why should I want for one day/month a year to show my gratitude towards others? Absolut vodka changing their bottle to a rainbow doesn’t make me feel like any more or less of a man.

About to start a new chapter with my DJ journey. I am to the point where I need more official things like tech/hospitality riders and press kits. It’s a little daunting, but a nice answer to negotiating with venues furry or otherwise.

It boggles my f***ing mind why something as advanced as VR Chat can’t have a simple drag and drop feature for avatars already packaged up. All I want to do is upload the Unity files, but I have to jump through sh*t hoops.

Two genres that work amazingly well together that I did not have on my bingo card for this year: Queer and Goth.

I do find it a bit paradoxical, though, when stickers are meant to be available for public consumption. Are these people worried about others abusing the packs?

I feel Telegram is missing a trick somehow by not letting users make some sticker packs private. I don’t have any myself, but I’ve seen a few people who specifically have a sticker in their pack asking people not to do repost from there.

I have found that after staring at pride flags for years, I found they really inspire in me is the urge to make seven-layer jello cakes from scratch.

Hot take of the day: Stop self-captioning every word on YouTube in your videos. YouTube already has a closed caption function so why do you feel you need to show every word on the screen regardless? If you’re worried about sound, watch the video with some headphones and be done with it.

It looks like AWNM is still having scheduling problems and may have to postpone until next year. Wish I could find a cheap alternative in the southwest US aside from BLFC to somehow celebrate my birthday.

Had a late bday party with friends. Was so much fun, thank you to everyone who came. And hopefully next year I can invite more people.

So…for people here in Phoenix, Pride Month works a little different. In the sense it’s actually October for us. Our rainbows would melt faster than a bag of Skittles if we tried to celebrate this month.
