I love this spot on Hindhead Common, near Gibbet Hill and the Devil’s Punchbowl, but it’s often very muddy.🥾 Puddles and mud on the way ahead. The sun is going down so I better get a move on and cross that cattle grid.

Looks like my boots are going to need a clean!

The morning #bee 🐝

Our picture shows a dramatic, wide view of the sky at either sunrise. The entire scene is filled with thick, textured clouds that look like rippling waves spread across the sky. The clouds glow with deep, fiery colours,burnt orange, bright gold, and soft pink especially near the lower centre where the sun is hidden just beyond the horizon. Toward the top of our picture , the colours fade into darker shades of blue and grey, giving a strong contrast between light and shadow. The brightest area is near the bottom middle, where a warm, golden light appears to break through the clouds, as if the sun is just behind them. There is no land, sea, or buildings visible only an expansive, glowing sky filled with layered, flame-coloured cloud formations that create a powerful, almost storm-like atmosphere. And finally our picture is finished with a simple white border frame.
