Great tip. I have heard of people putting work phones in drawers or just away as well to cut back on the temptation.

How far did you walk? I just posted about how I am getting ready for the week. Pretty much engaging in pure enjoyment. Very little productivity, which feels amazing. 😌

🤔💭 Do you have a routine that helps you relax before starting a new week?

Sooo I say all that to say rest your mind and body as much as possible before entering a new week. While we plan as much as possible, it's impossible to plan for everything. That recharge and stored up energy is going to help you navigate each day in the coming week.

I avoid anything that requires me to move too fast. If I need to go grocery shopping, I use the pickup option and possibly fill my car up with gas. Other than that, there are no errands and very few chores. This allows me to have fun and recharge for the week.

One thing I have been trying to each day before returning to any kind of work is...not think about work. I know, I know. Easier said than done. I have been spending time reading, taking longer showers, watching shows, and sometimes going to the movies.

Hope everyone is savoring this late taste of a weekend, and I hope each one of you had some downtime.

As I look at my phone and realize that no today was not Saturday and that Monday is tomorrow, I admit I get anxious.
