I am an advocate for Outback opportunities; an emissary for Indigenous ecological management; and an advocate for wild Australian functional whole foods as the keys to metabolic health to deliver both, lifespan and healthspan extensions.

Get some LIFE from aussiesuperfoods.com and the phytonutrients will change your life. Sweet foods taste too sweet so we eat less of them or not at all. You just don't get hungry. It's also great for physical and mental energy (particularly if you take the Karuah Active Magnesium too).
22.03.2025 21:32 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0To summarize a better food choice: Eat more fibrous veges and dump the starchy ones. Avoid cultivated fruits. Nothing written about vitamin C content, antioxidants or other perceived benefits from F&V are true unless you augment your nutrition with wild foods such as LIFE. Eat only if hungry.
22.03.2025 21:25 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Eating starchy and sugary foods will make us hungry as our gut bugs want more of the same foods. It is made worse by low protein, low fibre & the phytonutrient deficiency of modern foods. Drop our carbs, replace them with these 3 components and we are satiated and avoid getting or staying fat.

Classic proof of nutrient deficiencies making a foodie hungry.
In the image are the culprit 'foods' - the super-starchy veg and fiendishly sugary fruits. None deliver the quality of phytonutrients of the wild foods with which we evolved.
Fat and potato. Not good for anybody's health.
Fat and potatoes are unhealthy no matter how they are served:

It's not the critic who counts.
It's not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles or where the doer of Deeds could have done it better.
The credit belongs to the person who's actually in the arena.
The Anglo-American philosopher, Bertrand Russell is a hero of mine since my teens and someone I still follow through his writings.
His book; 'Why I am not a Christian' was/is a bible for me.
Also he wrote: Fascists first fascinate the fools. They then muzzle the intelligent.
Thanks God. Do I still get it if I have out-grown my parents, I am a free-thinker and I am now writing to an imaginary being?

Ponder these:
โข What's driving all you do? Is it a singular objective? Where did it come from? Is there something better or of higher value to pursue?
โข What in your life is "noise" or distraction, creating complexity and confusion to what you're doing? Can you filter it out?
Thanks Benjamin.

Matheus, a Brazilian body builder dies from a heart attack at 19 years of age.
Doug Bignole had a cardiovascular calcification condition then COVID19 sealed his fate.
We read about many athletes, eg Matheus Pavlak (at 19), Bruce Lee (32), Doug Brignole (63) and countless others who died from complications of conditions where soft tissue calcification was key.
Maybe you are not as fit as these guys who succumbed but when would now be a good time to lose some Ca?
If Henry David Thoreau was right in saying "The price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it" then regaining and maintaining your Metabolic Health is like buying your life back.
In fact, the cost of *NOT* focusing on your metabolic health now, will be the life you could have lived.
Reclaim Your Metabolic Health for Life-Changing Benefits
Achieve your best health and keep Metabolic Syndrome at bay:
โข Balance Mg and Ca to combat diseases of nutrition
โข Boost immunity and energy naturally
โข Manage cravings and weight with ease
โข Slow down the effects of aging
Start now.
How many meals do you eat each day? When out bush with my 'Aunties' we would have days like this:
1. wake up around 7:30 or 8am
2. Coffee or tea then forage 4 to 5 hrs
3. day camp & fire to cook brunch
4. 2pm off to forage/hunt/spear fish
5. back to the main camp for main meal
2 meals is plenty.
I know what you mean Evan. Our Ca-Mg balance is far from common knowledge but I like to learn about a problem someone might have, I Google the condition and add "and calcification".
There are very few diseases of nutrition or ageing that do not involve some dysfunction of calcium in soft tissues.
I'd save the cockroach in the rowboat. No point going down with the nasty insects.
17.11.2024 03:11 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0We get way too much calcium in food because it in chemicals and leafy greens we should avoid.
In contrast, most of us are deficient in magnesium even though some people swallow tablets of crushed rocks in various chemical forms.
Here's the good oil on the topic:

Sweeter tomatoes? Great. Yep we need more bad sugars. As if it wasn't enough when they bred in durability as a quality to help the transport and shelf life of toms. This took away their flavour. Now to swamp what's left. Dumb science.
