If you want to keep posting things like this, you need to urgently oppose KIDS, SCREEN, KOSA, et al.

If your House Rep is conservative and unwilling to hear ideas from people who are not conservative, try spinning it as a conservative issue

Something along the lines of “Hi, I’m calling to let you know that KOSA and other censorship bills will suppress our good conservative American Values”

Some LGBTQ+ rights groups also opposed KOSA in 2024—arguing that the broadly worded bill could empower state attorneys general to determine what kind of content harms kids. One of the bill’s co-sponsors, Blackburn, has previously said that one of the top issues conservatives need to be aware of is “protecting minor children from the transgender in this culture and that influence.” Calling out social media, Blackburn said “this is where children are being indoctrinated.”

Age verification / online ID check legislation literally forces companies to collect MORE data on children (and everyone else) not less.

We desperately need privacy, antitrust, and algorithmic justice legislation.

Not censorship bills like KOSA and expanded surveillance.

With all the shit going on with KOSA, KIDS act, ASAA and such, I think about EmpLemon's video on his second channel about how the Internet is changing. He at one point said that the parents are "trying to reshape the internet into their old-fashioned image of the world".

It will also cut off queer people from there friends too. KOSA is bad for everyone.

KOSA just wants to silence, scrubbing certain knowledge, nuance, discomfort, communities, and conversations from the world until it bleeds raw and a "cleaner" red.

It's not about kids' safety. It's about surveillance and censorship on everyone.

Don't willingly offer KOSA that silence.

Scream.

"NSFW" (massive quotes) content and laundry detergent are alike in this context, two things kids maybe shouldn't be around, but to adults who know better, it's fine. And kids inevitably grow up.

But KOSA says "NSFW" content, regardless of age, is like drinking detergent, poison to all. It's not.
