Yeah, I’m sure it does keep those people away. That cuts both ways tho

i still do get botted! just realised, as well as the no-aggro comments i mentioed to Bariann, that i also haven;t had ay spam comments for a while either, which is nice. But do get a fair bit of bot traffic still. so that is reassuring :D

actually one thing I have not had for a very long time are any aggressively hostile comments. my moderation queue remains blissfuly clear 99% of the time, instead of being a daily task.

I try not to dwell on it too much, as I like having an oblique name, but I can't help wondering, occasionally, how different the channel audience would be if i had called it something lame like 'the black metal and dungeon synth channel'

There's only so many times I can read infographics and keep not understanding them

It’s too small and makes me feel queasy. I should get over it. Push through.

I will say though, I really don’t know how IG works that well. I should probably be doing more stories and a whole other load of stuff.

I was doing 9:16 (1080x1920) for Reels, and 4:5 (1080x1350) for Posts

I can’t post Reel size through Meta because it says it’s the wrong aspect. 4:5 works, so that’s what I’m using for them all

via Meta fits nice (nlorgpipe), direct to IG, doesn’t fit (b/w one). But I chose same Post option 😐

I don’t use my mobile for any video stuff tho (much to my daughter’s disdain)

i had a whinge on here recently about why some of my posts look really bad compared to others, and discovered the problem was posting direct to IG.

i am probably using the wrong aspect for the post formats, but importantly, i don't mess up throguh Meta b ut do with IG. so I try to stick to Meta

I have not had that problem. the resolution is ok at least, even if I post it to the wrong place (things look worse posting direct to IG than they do through the Meta Suite for some reason)
