Bernie's new billionaire wealth tax would raise $4.4T from the super-rich over the next decade.

That's more than enough to reverse Trump's Medicaid cuts, raise teacher pay, make childcare affordable, and build millions of affordable homes.

And guess what? The super-rich will still be super rich.

Labour Deputy Leader Opposed By-Election Attack On Green Drug Policy Lucy Powell was amongΒ the Labour figures privately concerned about attacking the Greens' drug policy during the Gorton and Denton by-election campa...

The problem wasn't really the negative campaign.

The problem is that it was a smear campaign based on lies.

And still Labour aren't offering any solutions to the highest drug deaths in Europe.

Let's have *that* conversation.

There are two weeks until my election, and AIPAC has spent $150,000 to create the worst attack out against me I have ever seen.

Let’s watch it:

I asked Claude which was worse on democracy human rights and exporting terrorism: Saudi or Iran. Both awful on human rights though Iran prob worse. Saudi-linked terrorism has probably killed more though.

There's insanity, and then there's religious insanity - which is far more dangerous because it is much more likely to have access to the levers of power.

This was a disgusting smear by Starmer. Not only was it transparently rubbish, it potentially puts Mothin Ali's life at risk.

Labours attitudes towards water companies is one of the starkest examples of how they'll do anything to protect the status quo.

The case for water nationalisation is so bloody obvious to everyone - yet they'll do anything they can to keep the failed privatisation experiment.

Wow.

The Green Party aren't just in second place on 21%.

They are FIVE points ahead of Labour.

The Gorton and Denton by-election is convincing Labour voters the Greens aren't a wasted vote.

And they're just 2 points behind Reform!

@elliechowns.bsky.social : "In 2020 Starmer said he did not think the UK should enter into military action without a legal justification, without a clear goal & without parliamentary approval. None of those conditions are in place now. Indeed, it is an illegal war led by a war criminal"

Greens overtake Labour in sensational poll The Greens have polled higher than Labour in the latest poll by YouGov, which puts them only two points off Reform UK and five ahead of the governing party.

"Of those who voted Labour [in 2024], just 37% would vote Labour again".
Read that again to absorb the full, astonishing weight of what it means.
Starmer, Reeves and co have burnt their house down.

The blatant Islamophobia that Keir Starmer is demonstrating through smearing Mothin Ali would be shocking - but it's becoming a pattern.

Smearing a caring man of principle for standing up for peace.

And if it was any other president’s adviser who said something like this about any other minority, it’d be the instant end of their presidency.

The tragic awfulness of this government is that it has extended a factional war against the left of the Labour Party into a war against almost all the good things we might have expected of it. It cannot respond to the crisis it faces, because its hatred of the Labour left is definitional.
